ABOUT ME
Marketing is my Passion
From graphic design and marketing campaigns to innovative solutions and strategic plans for diverse companies, I’ve been involved in the field of marketing since 1998. Marketing has always come naturally to me and I've enjoyed experimenting with innovative and creative ideas throughout my career. I have extensive experience with brand strategy, visual design, event coordination, public relations, content development, advertising, social media, and general management.
Highlights of my career include:
-
Developed the Canon “Bring Them Home” campaign and worked with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that helped law enforcement recover 38 missing children in three years, winning Canon an award from the U.S. Department of Justice in 2000.
-
Successfully managed and developed revenue campaigns and project plans to achieve internal transactional revenue goal of $1.7 million in six months for Paciolan.
-
Managed shared marketing department for three separate divisions: EDP, Colorflex and Tri-Optic; including overall budget responsibility ($600k split between all three divisions).
-
Initiated and proposed extensive cost savings plan to eliminate the need for all outside printing expenditures by utilizing and relocating the Colorflex printing warehouse to the main building – allowing all three divisions to utilize the print house for various collateral needs and saving approximately $148,000 over the span of three years.
-
Managed all tradeshow logistics including travel, signage, packing show crates, installation/dismantle of booth, freight and miscellaneous show services. Responsible for saving the companies more than $60,000.00 by bringing the management of all show services and graphic design in-house.
-
Planned and successfully coordinated three large scale National Conferences with over 500 attendees each. Coordination included travel, entertainment, food, transportation, sponsorships, set-up/tear-down and managed all on-site logistics between partners, customers and vendors.
-
Managed re-branding efforts (from PSC to CATCH Intelligence). Managed complete re-design of the corporate website. The redesign included new design/structure/layout and complete rewrite based on feedback and analysis of site readability, content flow, and total site ease-of-use.
-
Managed, planned and fully organized the Douglas County Fair for the 2019 season. Included all media and advertising needs, authored press releases, developed new brand and all graphic needs.
-
Developed unique Marketing/Sales strategy for Franchise Home Office with pop-up Business "CAR", Guard Shack phone/business card holder, custom Jackknife pain-point postcard, manufacturing carousel, pop-out custom challenge coin gift box, 3D shadow box invitation, 40+ unique challenge coins, pop-up semi-truck and pop-up clock with multiple clock face designs.
-
Designed detailed plans and vision for custom-manufactured pieces, including a challenge coin display for individual employees, a large challenge coin display for all Franchise offices, a challenge coin custom "money clip" holder, and a custom metal bookmark.
I've lived in the general Omaha area since 2007. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering for various non-profits in the area and most weekends you can find me at Lifegate Church where I passionately serve as a Video Director and volunteer camera trainer. I also enjoy writing, dancing, and stretching my voice at Karaoke.
